Chair Yoga Summer Session 1
with Glenda Brooks
Chair yoga is especially suitable for older adults, people with balance or coordination issues, and those with disabilities. Chair yoga helps increase flexibility, lung capacity, circulation and strength, Improves balance and relieves stress. The class incorporates breathing exercises, stretching, yoga postures, and final relaxation. 7 classes per session.

Tai Chi Summer Session 1
with Daniel Hall
Daniel Hall teaches Tai Chi for the Community Education Department at DACC. He has been a martial arts practitioner for 40+ years, focusing on the internal Chinese art of Tai Chi, as well as the arts of Hsing –I and Bagua. He has studied a variety of Chi-gung and Nei-gung systems and is also a certified Clear Tai Chi™ Level 1 instructor, Clear Tai Chi™ Internal Push Hands™ Level 1 Instructor andhas completed levels 1-4 of Clear Tai Chi™ (Fa Kung) Chi Healing training. As a Kinesiotherapist at the Danville VA, Dan taught Tai chi and Nei-gung for health and for stress reduction to Veterans for several years until retiring in 2020. He taught these skills to Veterans with a wide variety of physical and mental health issues, as ways of coping with the stresses and difficulties of life.

Fused Glass Art
with Lily Siu
Glass projects featuring a multi-colored pattern achieved by fusing together variously colored canes, rods, strips, or squares of glass.

Jaguar Basketball Camp
with Dajuan Gouard
Students will be divided into groups based on skill level. Work on all the fundamentals of basketball:including shooting, passing, defense,dribbling, rules of the game, and good sportsmanship.

Minecraft - Morning

Ages: 8 - 11
This camp challenges kids to imagine and create a cohesive world in Minecraft over the course of the week. Campers will plan and design a world arround a theme, and brainstorm what it should contain, then design and build the structures and environments of that world. The level of this class is very flexible.

Sweet Science Camp

Get ready for 4 days of hands-on science that's as sweet as candy! At Sweet Science Camp, kids will ecplore exciting experiments using treats, colors, and kitchen science to discover how the world works! Campers will learn basic science concepts while mixing, melting, building, and experimentsing in fun and safe environment.
